Welcome to MY PILATES GYM!

At MY PILATES GYM we operate under the “classical” or “original” system of Pilates, which is called Contrology.

​

To us this is the only Pilates method.

​

As our industry is swinging back towards its roots and there are a lot of Pilates Instructors that have not yet had the opportunity to experience the original method of Contrology.

​

We would love to welcome you into our space and have a workshop day of discovery.

​

This is a workshop for all Pilates Instructors no matter your training pathway. We will spend a few hours together exploring the original equipment and the reasons why we call it a method.

​

The workshop is being run by My Pilates Gym's director Sharon Lee Michau, a 3rd-generation instructor through the Jay Grimes lineage. Sharon is the founder of My Pilates Gym and is dedicated to preserving Joe Pilates' original method.
